A new-build project is always an exciting opportunity to design a forward-thinking network from the ground up. While retrofit projects are a chance to revitalize an established system, new buildings are a completely blank slate.
We were intrigued to work on The Landmark, our fourth joint project with MR Soluciones. This sophisticated mixed-use high-rise in Mexico presented a unique challenge, as the owners wanted to integrate all OT systems in the skyscraper while maintaining separate networks for each application.
This isn’t just ambitious. It’s typically costly, especially with huge distances to cover, three separate control rooms, and a high device count. There were more than 1,000 devices to connect, including parking systems, CCTV cameras, access control panels, large LED screens, Wi-Fi antennas, and a state-of-the-art sound system.
Even with these challenges, together with MR Soluciones, we provided robust services to meet any challenge.
Find out how we were able to reduce costs by about 10% overall, integrate over 1,000 devices across separate systems on three independent networks, and design a topology that conforms to the layout of the building. Download the case study!
