Optigo Networks is pleased to announce that they finished in the top 3 at Cascadia Summit – the Official Closing Event for Vancouver Start-up Week. Over 100 companies across western Canada and the United States applied and only 16 were selected to give a 3 minute pitch to a selection panel, made up of investors from both Canada and the United States. “We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to pitch and now to have been selected as a finalist is amazing – especially considering the tough competition”, said Pook-Ping Yao, CEO of Optigo Networks. “The whole event was a great experience and I was really impressed with the depth and quality of all the companies involved.”

Cascadia Summit is Launch Academy’s premiere event showcasing the most promising start-ups from Western Canada and the US to an audience over 500 investors, entrepreneurs, corporations, media and more.

Founded in 2012, Launch Academy is an entrepreneur-led, grassroots, nonprofit with the mission to improve the quality of early-stage start-ups and maximize their chances of success through education, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

The event was held on Friday, November 21st and hosted in partnership with Boast Capital and Plug and Play Tech Center.
