Optigo Networks Inc. and its affiliates (“Optigo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) are committed to protecting personal information and handling it in an open, fair, and transparent manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when individuals visit our websites, create accounts, communicate with us, or use our infrastructure-focused software-as-a-service products and related services (collectively, the “Services”). Optigo’s Services are primarily designed to process technical, operational, and building infrastructure data.
This Privacy Policy is intended to support compliance with applicable privacy laws, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”), Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (“CASL”), and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation and UK GDPR (collectively, “GDPR”).
This Privacy Policy applies to information we obtain through your use of the Services or when you otherwise interact with Optigo, including through our websites, SaaS products, support channels, sales processes, events, and marketing communications.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to: (a) third-party products or services that you may choose to integrate with the Services; or (b) any Optigo product or service for which a separate privacy policy is provided. Third-party products and services are governed by their own privacy terms, and we encourage you to review those policies carefully.
For information we collect for our own business purposes—such as account administration, billing, contract management, support, security, and direct marketing—Optigo generally acts as the organization that determines how and why that information is processed.
When a customer uses the Services to store, transmit, or otherwise process information in its own environment, Optigo generally processes that customer data on the customer’s behalf as a service provider or processor, subject to the customer’s instructions and applicable agreements. In those circumstances, the customer is typically responsible for determining the purposes and lawful basis for processing the personal information contained in customer data.
Where Optigo processes personal information on behalf of a customer, such processing is governed by applicable customer agreements, including data processing agreements, which may supplement or override this Privacy Policy.
If you use the Services through an organization, your account may be provisioned, managed, or controlled by an administrator designated by that organization. That administrator may be able to access and manage your account, account settings, service communications, and content; restrict or terminate access; and configure privacy and security settings within the customer environment. If you have questions about your organization’s privacy practices, please contact your organization directly.

To reduce privacy risk, Optigo does not use personal information incidentally contained in logs or analytics data for unrelated profiling or third-party marketing. Where feasible, we aggregate, de-identify, minimize, or otherwise limit the use of such data.
We may also generate aggregated or de-identified statistics that do not reasonably identify an individual and use those statistics for product improvement, benchmarking, reporting, and other lawful business purposes.
We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, authenticate users, understand usage patterns, measure campaign effectiveness, and support analytics and lawful marketing activities.
Where required by law, we will obtain consent before placing non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through cookie preference tools on our websites. Disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Optigo may use third-party subprocessors and service providers located in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions to provide or support the Services.
As a result, personal information may be stored, processed, or accessed outside the jurisdiction in which it was originally collected. Laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws of your home jurisdiction, including laws that permit courts, law enforcement, or national security authorities to access information.
Where required, we implement reasonable and appropriate transfer safeguards, which may include contractual protections, data processing terms, and security controls designed to protect personal information during international transfers.
We maintain an up-to-date list of subprocessors, which is available upon request.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, manage the customer relationship, maintain security and audit trails, comply with legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of the Services, the applicable customer agreement, customer instructions, system configurations, legal requirements, and legitimate business needs. Certain system logs, security records, and backup data may be retained for defined periods even after account deletion for security, compliance, and audit purposes.
When personal information is no longer required, we will delete it, anonymize it, or securely dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and our retention practices.
We implement risk-based, reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, modification, or destruction. These safeguards are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication measures, logging, vendor diligence, and security monitoring.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, while we strive to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
All Optigo personnel and contractors with access to personal information are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations and receive training or guidance on privacy and data protection as relevant to their roles.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, object to or restrict certain processing, request deletion, request data portability, or lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy regulator.
If we process your information on behalf of a customer, we may direct your request to that customer where appropriate because the customer controls the relevant data and may be better positioned to respond.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those communications or by contacting us using the details below. Even if you opt out of promotional messages, we may still send you transactional, service, security, or administrative communications.
For commercial electronic messages, Optigo intends to comply with CASL and, where applicable, the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, including by identifying the sender, providing required contact information, and offering a functional unsubscribe mechanism.
The Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where consent was not validly obtained, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, integrations, or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing information to them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, legal obligations, or privacy practices. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and revise the Effective Date above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
