Two industry-leading companies join forces to spearhead the Internet of Things transition for commercial buildings.
Vancouver, BC June 13, 2015 – Officially underway on their first joint project, Optigo Networks and Controlco are announcing a new distribution and integration partnership. After successfully winning the bid to create an IoT and analytics platform for an innovative 33-story commercial building in Mexico City, Controlco brought in Optigo Networks to create a state-of-the-art secure networking platform.
“We’re pleased to continue full steam into this IoT world with Optigo Networks as a trusted partner,” said Controlco President Brian Turner. “We know that cybersecurity is of utmost importance when creating an integrated analytics system such as the one we’re developing in Mexico City, so Optigo’s expertise is a key element to a job well done.”
This marquee project marks the beginning of a relationship between the Vancouver-based Optigo Networks and the Bay Area Controlco. Moving forward, Controlco will represent Optigo Networks in California and Mexico on this and future projects.
“We’re excited about the new possibilities the Controlco partnership opens up for us in the California and Mexico markets,” Optigo Networks CEO Pook-Ping Yao said. “From what we’ve seen so far in Mexico, our two companies have complimentary expertise and we make a great team.”
